Solid Perfume

Solid Perfume

For a solid perfume, you are essentially making a balm base first and then adding your perfume blend to it. Experiment with different scents and customise your own perfume, create custom blends for friends and family.

You can use any carrier oil and type of beeswax, but you'll want a neutral carrier oil, so your perfume blend isn't having to compete with an already fragrant carrier oil. Good Carrier Oil choices don't evaporate and they also have very neutral scent which means they won't interrupt the beautiful aroma of your homemade perfume, our recommended choices would be: Fractionated Coconut Oil - Camellia Oil - Jojoba Oil -  Sweet Almond Oil - Apricot Kernel Oil - Peach Kernel Oil -  Sunflower Oil

We have included two balm options, one with beeswax and one vegan option made with deodorised cocoa butter. It is important to use deodorised cocoa butter as the natural version smells strongly of chocolate which will affect the final perfume, unless you want to make a chocolate perfume of course!
